Here is the tutorial First you ll need to make 9 patch blocks with your 2 x 2 squares You ll need 30 9 patch units for the smaller quilt and 42 nine patch units for the larger quilt After you have the 9 patch units ready it s time to add the sashing Add two small sashing rectangles to the left and right sides of the quilt Cut 2 x 6 units from each strip set See Strip Piecing 101 post for tips to help keep your units square Cut 64 units from the 4 Dark Light Dark stripsets and 32 units from the 2 Light Dark Light stripsets Make Nine Patch Quilt Blocks
